What a great week, a red carpet event at the BAFTA Britannia awards with producer Julia Verdin wearing my earrings and a commission necklace and earrings set that I've found out is for her registry party and she's asked me to do her wedding jewellery next year.I worked from a grainy black and white photo to give her something similar to a piece her Gran wore on her wedding day..she cried when she saw it which was actually a good thing :-)

Two more pieces that have gone to two lovely actresses in L.A (not saying who yet) ..I just want to see what they look like on now !

Well now I am up to 1400 likes on my facebook business page I can admit my husband was right, it is going to be a major way of people connecting & interacting with you - I think people like the immediate feedback they get from it versus a regular website ... though I wont be telling him he was right ! Enjoying the reusing of old pieces of jewellery, surprised at how popular the 'vintage' pieces have been , though the mint condition brooches that were 20 or 50 pence at jumble sales & car boots now run from £20 each up to how ever much you'd like to spend !

Well, I'm supposed to be on holiday but seem to be spending more time updating and answering questions then when I'm at home..which can only be a good thing !
We are in Ortigia, Sicily and it's great to be so near the water - the apartment is on the sea front, and it's given me a whole new love for coral.

I've just been watching Panorama & surprise surprise a comodities giant makes money from 10 year olds being down a mine in Congo...another reason I will never be a billionaire, I give a damn where my products come from...it makes me so mad !

Found another gemstone supplier today, some beautiful pink sapphires and awesome tanzanite....might have over egged the shopping trolly at check out :)
